Late last year I had the pleasure of working with a very talented singer from Romania named INNA. We shot a video for her super fun song called More Than Friends! The video was shot on the beaches of Los Angeles and at a beautiful mansion in the hills of Malibu. INNA is naturally beautiful so I chose a fresh clean makeup for the beach scenes. As the party progresses later into the evening I amped up the look with a bright pink gloss and a bronze/gold eye shadow.
I was browsing the internet and found a editorial I did with Lydia Hearst for Italian Style Magazine last Spring. We shot this spread at the famous Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, styled by Kendrick Osorio and shot by Robert Gallagher. I hope you enjoy the pics below.
My girl, China Anne McClain dropped her NEW music video for her smash hit song “Calling All The Monsters” a few weeks ago and is #3 on the iTunes video charts! I have been getting a ton of request asking me what I used to create China’s look for the video. This video was one of the best videos I have ever worked on, the energy was amazing and even though it was two 12 hour days, you would have never guessed, cause we had that much fun!
China is naturally beautiful and doesn’t require much makeup. So I wanted to do something playful and young. To get China’s Calling All The Monsters makeup, just follow the few easy steps below!
Step #1: Moisturize skin with Dermalogica Active Moist all over face and let it soak into the skin for a few minutes. Apply a shimmering bronzer to the high planes of the face like the cheek bones, bridge of nose, forehead and chin. I used IMAN Sheer Finish Bronzer in Clay. This bronzer adds a beautiful golden luminous glow to the skin.
Congratulations to LORETTA DEVINE for her win at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards last night. She took home the trophy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama for her role on Grey’s Anatomy playing Adele Webber. Loretta’s dress was designed by Angela Dean and she looked stunning!
I was browsing the internet tonight looking for a release date for Disney’s A.N.T. Farm star China Anne McClain’s NEW song called “Calling all the monsters” and I found this very cool behind the scenes video. I got to glam China Anne for this video and the makeup look is ELECTRIFYING to say the least!
Calling all the monsters song will premier on Radio Disney tomorrow September 9th at 4pm and the video drops September 18th, but in the mean time, check out this great teaser below.
For the debut issue of Treats! Magazine I did an editorial with actress Rachel Roberts. We shot on location in the Hollywood Hills at a fabulous home and it was shot by photographer Deborah Anderson. The images are stunning and can be seen in Treats! Magazine on News Stands NOW! You can also subscribe digitally at www.zinio.com
I have not done a product of the week in a while now so I thought I would review a few great lip glosses!
MAC Cosmetics has recently launched a lipglass and lipstick called “GAGA 2″ The shade is sort of a brownish, peachy beige. Not exactly an easy color for everyone to wear, but I really like this lip glass paired with a pink lip liner like Dervish, also from MAC Cosmetics.
Every cent of the selling price of MAC VIVA GLAM lipstick and lipglass is donated to the MAC AIDS fund. For more information visit www.macaidsfund.org
The MAC AIDS fund has raised over 200 Million since it was established in 1994.
Check out the latest issue of VIV Magazine with actress Lea Thompson on the cover. I glammed Lea and her Daughter Zoey Deutch for the day and had a blast. Lea is best known for her roles in the Back to the future movies, Howard the duck and her 90′s sitcom Caroline in the city! Subscribe to Viv Magazine at www.vivmag.com and check out Zoey on the NEW hit series Ringer on the CW Network.
