I am loving this NEW Editorial in Prestige Hong Kong Magazine. Shot in a garage that used to house vintage cars, it created the perfect backdrop for our fashion story. Check out these amazing fashions by Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Blumarine, Lanvin, Burberry. Roberto Cavalli, Moschino and Versace.

December 13, 2011“ALL THAT GLITTERS” was the theme for this holiday party makeup & hair look! I was inspired by the glittery backdrop I created using two huge containers of silver glitter and some foam core board. I wanted the skin to be gorgeous and sparkle, I achieved this look by using MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation and some reflects glitter from MAC Cosmetics. Once again, Andrew and I wanted to use one of our flea market finds and we adorned the sculpted bun with a pink vintage brooch. To get this sculpted, sparkling look, follow the easy steps below.
MAKEUP: I prepped and primed the skin using Dermalogica Active Moist Moisturizer. I like to use this particular moisturizer cause it is oil free and light weight and doesn’t compromise my makeup and helps it last all day and into the night. With a large flat foundation brush from MAKE UP FOR EVER (35N) I applied MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation in shade 117 starting from the center of the face and blending outward. I then buffed the foundation further with a wet makeup sponge. If you have a Beauty Blender or something like it, that would work great as well. I let the foundation sit on the skin and set on its own before applying any face powder and started on the eye makeup.
EYES: To get these glittery eyes, I applied MAC Cosmetics Paint Pot in Soft Ochre all over lid with a large fluffy eye shadow brush and let it set. I then dabbed Too Faced Glitter Glue all over the lid with my finger to adhere the glitter. I applied MAC Cosmetics Glitter in Reflects Pearl all over the eye and to the brow bone with my finger to prevent minimal fall out. Since I didn’t use any eye liner for this look, I wanted to add some drama to the lash, so I added a full strip of Wispies lashes from Ardell and after the glue set, I applied two full coats of of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black to the top lashes and then applied Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in black to the bottom lashes. I filled in any sparse areas and elongated Rebecca’s brow using Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Brunette and then brushed into place with Anastasia Brow Gel in clear. If you have problems finding the glitter from MAC, you can also find very similar items from Urban Decay, MAKE UP FOR EVER or Sephora Brand. Reflects pearl from MAC might be a pro product.
LIPS: For the lips, I wanted to go for a fun and easy playful pink glossy lip and applied Anastasia Beverly Hills Hydraful Lipgloss in Sugar Pink for a sexy pout. The Hydraful Gloss from Anastasia is by far my favorite gloss, the silicone applicator is ideal for smoothing this gloss across the lips effortlessly.
CHEEKS: To finish off the look I set the foundation with a translucent face powder from MAKE UP FOR EVER. The powder I used is no longer made, but any translucent powder will do. I then dusted the apple of the cheeks and into the contours with NARS Cosmetics Blush in Orgasm. I then applied MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle to the cheek bones, chin and nose for a healthy radiant glow. To boost the sparkle factor, I applied the same glitter that I applied to the eye with a blush brush on the cheek bones and temples for added drama.
Body: I wanted to add some sparkle to Rebecca’s body. I did this by applying Tarina Tarantino Spraklicity Shimmer Dust all over the décolleté, arms and even a few pouf’s on the face for even more shimmer.
HAIR: For this sleek look, start with dry hair. For those with curly or wavy hair, quickly flat iron hair focusing primarily on hair around your hairline. Next, using a boar bristle brush like a Mason Pearson, brush hair in to a sleek low side ponytail, and secure using a hair bungee. Smooth hair with a strong hold gel like Kiehls Strong-Hold Styling Gel this will control any unruly hairs and ensure a long lasting style. Continue by taking a small section of hair from the ponytail and coat it completely with gel. Follow, by twisting this section of hair and wrap it around the base of the ponytail, secure in place using a bobby pin. Repeat the previous step until all of your hair has been secured around the ponytail. Keep in mind there is no wrong way to create this style, be creative and have fun with the shape. Lastly, finish this look by attaching a beautiful brooch!

September 19, 2011
Congratulations to LORETTA DEVINE for her win at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards last night. She took home the trophy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama for her role on Grey’s Anatomy playing Adele Webber. Loretta’s dress was designed by Angela Dean and she looked stunning!
For Loretta’s eyes I used the Anastasia Illumin8 Eye Shadow Duo in My Bedford. I applied this shadow with a damp brush to give it staying power. For the lips I lined them with MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil in shade 10C and then I applied the Anastasia Hydrafull Gloss in Sangria.

Kurv Magazine Men’s Underwear Spread
December 28, 2010For the December issue of Kurv Magazine I shot a men’s underwear spread with photographer Giuliano Bekor and stylist Anita Patrickson. We shot a total of 22 models in designer underwear. My 2 assistants and I prepped all the models bodies with 2 bottles of Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream. I love this body cream cause it smooths and conditions skin with hydroxy acids and essential oils. We then applied a very thin layer of Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil Gel to the entire body to give a sheen to the skin.

62nd Primetime Emmys Red Carpet Review
August 30, 2010The 62nd Primetime Emmy’s were last night and even though I didn’t watch the awards show, I will say some beautiful ladies won big in the wardrobe department.
After watching the Live from the Red Carpet show, I found that a lot of people played it safe with the hair and makeup. My favorites from the red carpet were January Jones, Anna Paquin, Kim Kardashian and Lea Michele.
January Jones is my top pick for Best Dressed! I thought her Electric Blue Versace gown was perfect for her skin tone and I loved the shape and quirkiness to it as well. Her make up was kept very simple & pretty with glowing skin and the hair sort of had a messy beachy texture.
Anna Paquin comes in second place in her Alexander McQueen gladiator inspired gown. I thought the dress was a little heavy looking but the detail was exquisite and she pulled it off very well. Anna’s makeup was kept in a neutral palette with a nude pink lip. The hair style was very runway inspired and it was executed to perfection. I still can not stop looking at this hair.
Kim Kardashian always looks stunning on the red carpet and last night was no exception. Her Marchesa Grecian style gown fit her like a glove and hair and makeup were prefect. Her makeup was a bit toned down from her usual smokey eye look and I think it makes her look very fresh. I love the texture in her pull backed hair. Kim looked like a goddess!
Last but not least on the list is Lea Michele from Glee. This jewel toned strapless mermaid gown from Oscar De la Renta is perfect for her gorgeous figure. I think she could have ditched the chunky necklace and bracelet though. I thought the makeup was very pretty, the eyes could have done with out the blue eye liner though and the hair should have been pulled back off her pretty face.
