Product Of The Week: Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer

283906

I use many types of concealers for different problems and areas of the face. My concealer of choice for the under eye area is the Lift Concealer by Make Up For Ever. This is a concealer with true staying power and contains Tensine which is great for firming the delicate skin around the eyes. Lift Concealer comes in 5 shades, Dark Beige and Neutral Beige are the shades I use the most though.

Make Up For Ever also makes an incredible line of HD Foundations and HD Full Coverage Concealers. Check out the great color selections at your nearest Sephora or online at www.sephora.com

MUFE is taking over! I will definitely check this out because I think it’s time to invest in some new concealers for my kit.

Once again (sorry) I have a question unlreated to this post, but – I use a powder puff to put on my loose powder. Can I clean that powder puff like I would a brush? I’m thinking I shouldn’t just keep piling more and more powder on there and patting it on my face every day without either washing it or replacing it (which I’d rather not do because it is Laura Mercier and it wasn’t cheap)

I have not used the Laura Mercier Velour Powder Puff before so I am not sure if it is cleanable or not. I looked on the site and it doesn’t say it is washable but since you paid 12 bucks for it, I am assuming it is.

Fill your clean sink up with warm water and pour a little regular or even baby shampoo into the water. Submerge the puff and gently clean the puff. Make sure the puff is completely dry before using again.

I was just wondering what shades you would recommend from MUFE HD Foundation line for your kit. I just bought 9 shades but I’m debating whether I really need all 9. What ones do you have for your kit?

Hello Teresa, how are you? Thank you for your post. It really depends on what kind of skin you are working on. For my kit, I mostly use the beige or olive shades from Makeup Forever. There is always going to be 3-4 shades that you use the most. At the moment I carry 6 different brands of foundation in my kit from liquid to cream and silicone based to oil free.

From the Make Up For Ever HD Line, I like these shades the best: 115 Ivory, 117 Marble, 118 Flesh, 120 Soft Sand, 123 Desert, 125 Sand, 127 Dark Sand, 128 Almond, 140 Soft Beige, 153 Golden Honey, 155 Medium Beige, 170 Caramel and 173 Amber.

I hope I was able to help!

      Anthony
