I have been obsessed with this scent ever since its launch in 2006. The scent was an instant hit and is very popular as a unisex fragrance. This scent is very distinctive and has spicy floral and woodsy notes with vanilla, amber and vetiver. I saw this at Saks Fifth Avenue the other day and retails for $112.00

The set of lipsticks are contained in a elegant black box and the colors are Pink Dusk. Spanish Pink. True Coral and Nude Vanille.
For my second beauty gift, id like to suggest this amazing Contour Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I am obsessed with this palette and use it softly sculpt all my beautiful clients. This kit is a must for any makeup artist or for someone who likes to sculpt their features for a glam look. You can pick this up at www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com or at any Sephora. The contour kit retails for $40.00
I recently posted a photo on my Instagram page of all the foundations I keep in my kit and the post was very popular. I wanted to give a little more info about why I chose these products and how I use them.
Dermacolor by Kryolan: I use this foundation to contour and highlight and to conceal and neutralize any redness or blemishes. I also use this product as foundation and apply a very small amount with a goat hair brush and buff. I then set with a loose setting powder from MAKE UP FOR EVER.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Liquid Lift Foundation: I use this foundation the most in my kit. This foundation gives me a luminous glow and has a dewy finish. I like to apply this foundation with a Real Techniques foundation buffing brush. My favorite shades in the line are 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 13 and 15.
Urban Decay Naked Skin: This is a very sheer foundation and comes in a wide variety of shades. I like to apply this with a Real Techniques brush as well and set with Urban Decay Finishing Powder.
MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Foundation: This foundation is best applied with your fingers and provides medium to full coverage. This foundation is also great to mix with the Liquid Lift Foundation to sheer down.
MAC Face & Body: This is a multipurpose foundation. Great for the face and the body like the name says. I apply on the body with my hands or a body sponge and apply with a Real Techniques Foundation Brush. Comes in N and C Shades. N for warmer skin tones and C for cooler skin tones.
MAC Matchmaster Foundation: This is a great foundation that has a demi matte finish and does not need setting. This foundation comes in 10 shades and adjusts to match your skin tone.
Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer: This little pot of foundation is more of a concealer and I only use this for extra heavy jobs. It is best applied with your fingers by warming the product in the palm of the hand and applying to face and then blend out with a damp beauty blender.
Kevyn Aucoin Tinted Balm: This is perfect for those on the go moments when you want even out your complexion and comes in 6 shades. Apply with fingers.
MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer: This is a concealer but I use as a foundation when I need good coverage and long wearability. Best is apply with fingers or damp beauty blender.
Chanel Vitalumier Aqua: Best applied with your fingers and is perfect for days you don’t want or need much coverage but want to even out the skin. Has a semi matte finish.

I have used every brush cleaner known to man. Most of which contain harsh chemicals in them that destroy the natural hair of the brushes so I usually just end up using regular shampoo. That is until I tried The London Brush Company’s Pure Goat Milk Solid Brush Cleaner a few months ago. I picked up a 1oz container at Nigel Beauty Emporium and was blown away by how clean and soft my brushes were. I am now on my 3rd container. This stuff is that good!
The creator of this wonderful product is accomplished makeup artist Sian Richards of The London Brush Company. These brushes are a staple in my makeup kit and are hand crafted in Great Britain. Sian has 22 years of experience as a movie makeup artist and you can check out her latest work in the new movie Cloud Atlas starring Halle Berry.
This brush cleaner is a MUST for any professional makeup artist or makeup aficionado. Pick yours up at www.londonbrushcompany.com

I have not done a product of the week in a while now so I thought I would review a few great lip glosses!
MAC Cosmetics has recently launched a lipglass and lipstick called “GAGA 2” The shade is sort of a brownish, peachy beige. Not exactly an easy color for everyone to wear, but I really like this lip glass paired with a pink lip liner like Dervish, also from MAC Cosmetics.
Every cent of the selling price of MAC VIVA GLAM lipstick and lipglass is donated to the MAC AIDS fund. For more information visit www.macaidsfund.org
The MAC AIDS fund has raised over 200 Million since it was established in 1994.

During this year I was introduced to many amazing beauty products. So I decided to compile a list of my top 10 beauty must haves. As I put them all together, I realized that they are 10 products everyone should have to create a basic face. I found my self using at least 5 of these products every day.
1: Josie Maran Argan Oil: This product has pretty much changed the way I do makeup. I use 3-4 drops of this oil and massage into the face. I immediately apply foundation and set with a translucent powder. 100% Pure Argan Oil can also be applied to your hair to tame fly aways and split ends.
2: Benefit Cosmetics “Hello Flawless” Powder Foundation: This finely milled pressed powder foundation is perfect for those “on the go” moments. I have used these miracle powders on commercials, editorial shoots and the next Benefit ad Campaign coming out in April.
3: Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit: Who doesn’t love a little or a lot of contour? I am very into that chiseled look and went a little crazy sculpting, highlighting and accentuating cheek and jaw bones. This product comes in 4 different kits and blends easily creating a soft and natural contour.
4: NARS Blush in Torrid: I got stuck in a rut using the cult favorite Orgasm Blush from NARS until I was introduced to Torrid at Sephora. Torrid is very similar to Orgasm with a stronger pay off and more intense coral undertones. It works really well on Medium to Medium/Dark complexions.
5: Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight Powder: This soft beige shimmer powder is prefect for highlighting the face with out looking shiny. Apply lightly to the cheek bones, bridge of nose, chin and forehead for a soft natural glow.
6: Anastasia Beverly Hills Illumin8 with Youthful Synergy Complex: This is one of the best eye shadow pallets I have used in a very long time. The Illumin8 pallet acts like a skin care and soothes, softens and hydrates the skin while providing a flawless wash of color to the lids. My favorite pallet is the #2, the sleek compacts houses 3 basic neutral shadows and a green and bronze shade.
7: Kevyn Aucoin Lip Pencil in Bare: This nude lip liner is one of the best I have ever used. I use this pencil to softly contour the lips and correct shape and then set with a translucent powder. I then layer what ever gloss or lipstick on my choice.
8: Benefit Cosmetics “Stay Dont Stray” Primer: Stay Dont Stray is a liquid shadow and concealer primer. I apply just a little bit to the entire eye area, outside corners, and very lightly under the eye. I let the product dry and then I apply my shadow and concealer as normal for true staying power!
9: MAC Cosmetics Chromagraphic Pencil: This multi use pencil made me fall in love all over again with MAC Cosmetics. This pencil can be used as an eye liner or concealer. It comes in many bright shades but NW25/NC30 is my fave.
10: Make Up For Ever Aqua Smokey Lash: This mascara is AMAZING! It volumizes, lengthens, curls and is the blackest black I have ever seen. If that isn’t enough for you, it is also waterproof. I tested this out on a few underwater shoots that I did and it never budged until it was removed with eye makeup remover.
With just 5 shopping days left. I thought it would be great to share my top beauty gifts for the beauty addict in your life. I picked 5 great gifts that fit all price ranges. Check them out below.
5: My first gift is perfume, try and find out if the person you are shopping for has a favorite scent. Try Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf or my personal favorite Black Orchid from Tom Ford. Black Orchid is a unisex scent and smells amazing on.
4: Josie Maran Beauty in a box is a great gift with mini versions of some of Josie Maran Cosmetics best sellers and some of my personal faves. The kit comes with Lipstick, Liner, Gloss, 100% Argan oil and a few other great items.
3: The Clarisonic skin care brush is definitely on my Christmas list this year. The brush cleans makeup 6 times better than tradition cleansing methods. The brush also clears and minimizes pores and helps skin care products absorb quicker while creating noticeably healthier skin.
2: Brush Kits are always a great gift. Who doesn’t love a fresh set of beauty tools? Try the Prestige Brush Collection from Sephora or some of the holiday brush kits from MAC Cosmetics!
1: My number one beauty gift item is the Temptu Airbrush System. This state of the art at home Airbrushing kit will give you flawless look after look as if you had your makeup done by the pros.
