Get the look: Lime Eyes and Coral Lips!

April 20, 2011

Face: I first prepped and primed the skin with Dermalogica Active Moist Moisturizer and added a few drops of the Skin Hydrating Booster and let it soak into the skin for a few minutes. I then used the Temptu Airbrush Makeup System to even out Rebecca’s skin tone in shade 001 Porcelain. I highlighted the cheek bones, bridge of nose and chin with the Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight powder and applied  Kevyn Aucoin The Pure Powder Glow in Doline to the apples of the cheeks and blended into the hairline.

Eyes: I applied MAC Eye Shadow in Bitter all over eye and blended into the crease. I then highlighted the inside corner with Vanilla Pigment from MAC Cosmetics. Two coats of  L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black were applied and then brushed out with a clean mascara wand for separation. The brows were groomed using Anastasia Brow Gel.

Lips: I lined the lips with a discontinued coral lip pencil but Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil in Coral 18C is also a great match. I then applied Vegas Volt Lipstick from MAC Cosmetics straight from the tube and then applied a second application with a lip brush for an opaque finish. No gloss was used in this look.

Get the look: Lavender Eyes!

April 5, 2011

Face: I first prepped and primed the skin with Dermalogica Active Moist Moisturizer and added a few drops of the Skin Hydrating Booster and let it soak into the skin for a few minutes. I then used the Temptu Airbrush Makeup System to even out Rebecca’s skin tone in shade 001 Porcelain. I highlighted the cheek bones, bridge of nose and chin with the Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight powder and applied  NARS Orgasm Blush to the apples of the cheeks and blended into the hairline.

Eyes: I smoothed a small amount of Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in 18 Purple all over eye and blended into the crease.

Lips: I skipped the liner for this look and went straight for the gloss. I used MAC Dazzleglass in Funtabulous.

Get the look: Fresh Face for Spring!

April 1, 2011

Face: I first prepped and primed the skin with Dermalogica Active Moist Moisturizer and added a few drops of the Skin Hydrating Booster and let it soak into the skin for a few minutes. I then used the Temptu Airbrush Makeup System to even out Rebecca’s skin tone in shade 001 Porcelain. I highlighted the face with the Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight powder and applied a light dusting of NARS Orgasm Blush to the apples of the cheeks.

Eyes: I smoothed a small amount of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream on Rebecca’s eye lid and highlighted the inside corner with Vanilla Pigment from MAC Cosmetics. I lightly brushed the lashes with one coat of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black and then separated the lashes with a lash comb. The brows were groomed using Anastasia Brow Gel.

Lips: The lips were lined with Subculture lip liner from MAC Cosmetics and a thin layer of Stila Lip Glaze in Apricot was applied for shine.
